The woman lost her baby and has suffered enough for that loss. Putting her on trial was wrong.
Had another vehicle hit her and the baby was killed, that person should be on trial and I would vote to convict.

Agree. The DA should have been horsewhipped. Had I been on a jury I wouldn’t have convicted either.
Unfortunately a bad case sets an illogical precedent. How many days must pass for cells to become a child?
