McClintock has an A rating (93% I believe) with CR

Here is how the game is played. I go to congress and I am a “staunch conservative”. I am in the minority within my own party, but I want the lobbyist money so I agree that I will vote for bill X if the leadership lets me vote and campaign against bill Y. I can throw some red meat to my base about bill Y and keep them satisfied even when I vote for X because I am the “most conservative” guy on the block and I have street cred. The leaders count the votes and make sure they have enough “conservatives” to join the rats to keep passing the uniparty agenda. The game continues.

Yes, we all understand show votes but, you do not get an A rating from CR with show votes.

Example: McConnell in the Senate has an F rating (53% as I recall). He is master of the show vote.
