Just as in this country, these sales are due to a profound disconnect between the elite politicians and Joe Citizens.

I'm sure there is no castle doctrine in any European country. I remember the British farmer who was imprisoned for having the audacity to defend himself. I wonder what the consequences are elsewhere in Europe. At least my home state and my winter state have castle doctrine, so I'm good to go...until Hitlery goes Australian on us.
