Lol, to think you actually went out of your way to tell me that.

And for lunch I had 2oz of whole wheat linguine, a glove of garlic crushed into a sauce pan of fresh diced tomato and a handful of spinach leaves Sauteed in home made basil olive oil then tossed on high with the freshly cooked and drained pasta. < $1.50

Tonight:

5 oz wild salmon filet dusted in a turmeric lemon rub. Asparagus spears and a 1/2 cup of sprouted short grain brown rice. A table spoon or two of Greek tzatziki sauce. < $8.

Oh, here’s my dog food recipe.

6+ lb of whole pork loin roast. Chunked and cubed. Browned in olive oil then stewed in home made chicken broth. 1 cup of shredded broccoli 1 cup of brown rice, 1/2 cup of pumpkin filling. Feeds a 50lb dog for about $1 per serving and the food is better than a $4.25 can of premium boutique dog food.

Hope you enjoyed.

Since you mentioned spinach...

There is one fast food chain no one has even mentioned and they have my favorite breakfast (hell, had it for lunch today): Subway.

Flat-bread (wheat, if available), egg white, bacon (or ham, steak), pepper jack cheese toasted, with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, banana peppers, olives, a few jalapenos, AND add spinach. Finish with a small bit of chipotle southwest dressing.

All for $3.50. Satisfaction and energy without the heaviness.

But damn do I love the occasional Waffle House/IHOP visit.
