Who the heck goes to Bucharest these days?
Was it a fire or a “blast”?
I read that it was fireworks for a Halloween party.
First reports said an explosion and fire...later report said ‘fireworks’ inside the nightclub. A coinkydink that ISIS announced some time back that it was sending members to destroy the West, and a major scene of death and carnage in an Eastern European city that is reaching Westward? A nightclub on the weekend of halloween, when so many will wear costumes?
Something similar happened in Rhode Island years ago. Fireworks and night clubs don’t mix.
Nor do angry, single moslem hot heads and civilisation!

Yup. Some of he most deadly fires in history have been at nightclubs.

Doubt it.
It appears to be a typical nightclub/theatre fire, where the lights or some normally harmless smoke devices set fire to decorations around the stage. These are mostly plastic, and the toxic smoke seems to be what got most people.
Of course, the place was also overcrowded and the exits may not have been what they should have been. It’s similar to that horrible nightclub fire they had in Rhode Island a few years ago.

That was the Great White concert IIRC. The pyro was in a club that was a deathtrap WITHOUT the fireworks. It ended very badly.

I do not know if the video is available on You Tube but we have seen it a few times during training classes. Quite haunting a gruesome.
The lesson is, when you go to a place like that, always take a few seconds up front to figure out where you need to go to escape when something like that happens.
As I recall, there was a live FR thread the night of that fire, started by a guy down the street from the place, if I remember correctly.
