About 100 students at a South Carolina high school walked out of class briefly Friday to show support for a school resource officer fired after video showed him throwing an uncooperative black female student across the floor, according to local media and Twitter feeds.

The students walked out of classes at Spring Valley High School in Columbia, S.C., around 10 a.m. and gathered in the atrium to express their views on the firing of Deputy Ben Fields.

Some in the crowd — which included both black and white students — wore T-shirts reading "Free Fields" or "#BringBackFields."

"We've heard your voices, okay," the administrator told the protesters. "We appreciate you taking time to do this, but again, as you know, we always focus on teaching and learning, so let's head on back to class."

Another way of saying 'we don't approve of your cause'.

If the walkout would've to protest carbon poisoning of our atmosphere or Black Lives Matter said "administrators' would've joined them and stayed out of class until the networks showed up.

Having spent a year in a South Carolina high school in the 1970’s where the black population rarely went to class and were nothing but disruptive, I can only image how much worse it has gotten since then. Students have probably gotten at their wits end with disruptive blacks in class and applaud anything that is done to combat these savages.

“threw her across the room...”

Garbage!

He drug her away from the chair/desk she had been clinging to in defiance.

In Tommy Sotomayor’s treatment of this incident, he pointed out how none of the other students in the class did a thing to come to the girl’s aid, nor did the teacher.

He surmised that this fact was telling, that it meant that everyone knew exactly who the girl was, and that everyone in the room - and probably in the whole school - had had enough of her nonsense. Well, he didn’t use the word “nonsense,” he used another word, but you get the idea.

This story shows that he called that one right down the middle.

I totally support the officer. (I, before retirement) had 27 years law enforcement and I would have done the same. The officer had a right and responsibility to clear the area by removing her from the weapon, the chair, and dragging her a few feet to a clear area to cuff this black fool. Fools like this could have in her tantrum injured some else.

Problem is we are dealing with a communists lying MSM and the communists empire that hate police action to serve and protect. We no longer have the protection we as responsible people need and now must protect ourselves. Sad, communists rule.

I went through the SC school system K-12 and graduating in 1989. Where I was things happened to be good.

It has gotten way worse. My mother and an aunt work in the school system and the horror stories amaze me and I went to school with some whacked people but none of them would act like they do today.

A few years ago I did IT contract work while trying to find a decent job after I quit the last one twice, I wound up in the ER in the time I worked at an electronics recycling place.

Some of those jobs were equipment deployment and pickup for some of the school districts. In most places the kids seemed to behave pretty well and the teachers were at times strict.

The female student needs to be kicked out of school and her grades destroyed she needs to learn to obey or pay.

Kudos to these students for supporting the cop. They know he’s on their side.
They are also making the point that these disruptive thugs are violating THEIR right to learn in a safe, sane environment.

Back in the dark ages when I was a student, minors could be arrested for being “insubordinate” or “incorrigible.” (I believe those were actual charges under which a minor could be booked.)
First stop was juvie jail. If a judge determined the kid to be habitually incorrigible, he’d be sent off to “reform school” which was essentially prison lite, with remedial reading and arithmetic included.
Making you do first grade-level schoolwork was a not-subtle way of letting you know you’re a moron.
If you acted up there, God help you. Those guards would whup you and throw you in solitary, with one baloney sandwich per day to eat, and where you’d figure out pretty quickly that behaving in school might not be so hard after all.

Back in the day, kids got the message—in civilization, you act civilized. Or we dispense with you.
The rules were the same for everyone. You’re not special and you’re not excused because your daddy’s a rich white lawyer, or because you’re poor and black and never met your daddy.

Now the worst dregs are coddled and excused and allowed to drag everyone else down.
Rules for everybody? That’s racist!
