Hillary Clinton, Sidney Blumenthal Got The Editors of Bloomberg To Write A Positive Op-Ed
Breitbart ^ | October 31, 2015 | By Patrick Howley

Hillary Clinton and her unofficial political adviser Sidney Blumenthal planted a positive op-ed in the mainstream news publication Bloomberg View in 2011.

But this was no mere op-ed from a former staffer or random think-tank expert. They sent it in as an editorial, bylined to “The Editors” of Bloomberg, and it ironically praised Clinton’s role in Libya a year before the disastrous Benghazi terrorist attack. Clinton credited her “good friend” for writing the piece.

Though the Clinton-Blumenthal tag team did not write the piece themselves, their fingerprints were clearly all over it.

Blumenthal emailed Clinton at her private email address on September 8, 2011 with a draft Bloomberg View op-ed called “Hillary Clinton Deserves Credit For U.S. Role In Libya.” The op-ed was alternatively bylined “To The Editors” and to “The Editorial Board.”

The opening line of the piece declared: “The unsung hero of the Libya drama in the U.S. is Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

Blumenthal and Clinton chuckled about their good fortune.

“H: Per our conversation. Jamie writes editorial…Sid” Blumenthal wrote in the subject line of his email to Clinton.

“It was very welcome and gave me reason to sit down and talk w Jamie who is such a good friend. Hope to talk soon-H” Clinton replied.

It is unclear at this time who “Jamie” is, but it’s likely to have been James “Jamie” Rubin, who worked for Bill Clinton’s State Department in the 1990s. . .

OT, but there does seem to be something up with character formatting all of a sudden.

The “media” is going to double down with pimping for Clinton. Barry is taking care of the feds for her. What a joke.

No question....Blumenthal was the conniving Clintons’ bagman-—promoting dubious foreign deals and schemes in which he had a financial interest.

Blumenthal was ambidextrous-—emailing w/ one hand....his other hand firmly in the State Dept cookie jar.

In one confidential e-mail to Clinton, Blumenthal was clearly colluding w/ onetime Amb Joe Wilson to help himself to the cookie jar.

GAME ON Wilson pumped himself as a ‘director’ of Symbion Power-—an outfit seeking millions of dollars in contracts from an obscure government agency chaired by Hillary....the Millennium Challenge Corp. (MCC)

In September 2010, Hillary’s MCC awarded Symbion $47 million tax dollars for (cough) ‘power projects in Tanzania.’

So how much of the $47 million tax dollars got to Tanzania....after the players divvied it up among Blumenthal, Wilson, the Clintons, Obama....

FREEPER ACTION PROJECT: Taxpayers demand the MCC books be opened. We demand to know the financial details and whether individuals connected to the State Dept were profiting at taxayers’ expense.

And remember......Blumenthal was pocketing $10,000 per month when hired by the Clinton Foundation...Bill ballyhooed the $325, 0000 Blumenthal hire as the person who would 'advance Bill's presidential legacy.'

(waiting for hysterical laughter to subside)

Hillary Clinton Adviser Sidney Blumenthal Had Financial Stake In US Libya Policy
IBT Media ^ | October 08 2015 | Jackie Salo /FR Posted by george76

Dateline Benghazi: Blumenthal was a principal character in Hillary Clinton's Libyan policy discussions, even though he was neither an official adviser nor an impartial party, according to Trey Gowdy, Republican chairman of the House committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi terrorist attack.

Rep. Trey Gowdy of South Carolina claims there was a financial stake for Blumenthal in Libya as he pressed for Clinton to intervene. "Blumenthal was not merely acting as a steward of information to Secretary Clinton but was acting as her de facto political adviser," Gowdy said in a blistering letter to Rep. Elijah Cummings of Maryland, the Benghazi panel's top Democrat.

"While Blumenthal, an old friend of Clinton's, admittedly knew little about Libya and had not ever been to Libya, Clinton seemingly read every one of his emails on the topic that began appearing out of nowhere in February 2011," Gowdy continued.

Blumenthal's motivation revealed -- money ... at the same time Blumenthal was pushing Secretary Clinton to war in Libya, he was privately pushing a business interest of his own in Libya that stood to profit from contracts with the new Libyan government... a government that would exist only after a successful U.S. intervention in Libya that deposed Qaddafi,” Gowdy wrote, referring to former Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.

Gowdy writes that Blumenthal maintained a frequent dialogue with Clinton about US policy in the country -- nearly half of the emails Clinton received regarding Benghazi and Libya prior to the attacks involved him. Blumenthal, who served as a former White House aide to her husband, was not employed in any official capacity at the time of their correspondence. (Excerpt) Read more at ibtimes.com ...

Anyone who’s read Bloomberg knows very little arm-twisting was required.
