There is no excuse for this, the”vendor”needs to be take’n out back and beat severely.
Aren’t guns at gun shows not supposed to be loaded?
Ooops!
Stupid.
Idiot.
They should take him out and shoo . . . no, wait . . .
Look at the IMPORTANT story under the GS account. The one about the Chinese producing an airliner to compete with the the Boeing 737.
Praise Gaia for free trade!
Happened before the show opened, during set-up.
More often than not the vendors ignore the rule against having loaded weapons at the gun shows. And more often than not it is one of them with an accidental discharge.
When I saw the words “Garden City” I immediately thought “not again”, then I noticed it was in Idaho.
My gun club in Garden City, Kansas had an annual gun show. I can’t remember the year but it was around 1986 that a lady was killed while setting up for the show. I was not there when it happened but the story was that they were going around to the various tables making sure all the guns were unloaded and secured.
When one of the guys picked up a 7mm magnum rifle, it discharged and hit the lady in the head. The club had insurance and it was one of those rare accidents but it did happen.
Ban idiots from gun shows.
Someone touched of a 12 gauge in the parking lot at the GS in Loveland this past weekend.
He was unloading a pump before going inside. Don’t know if it was a slam fire or if the idiot had his finger on the trigger.
Luckily the barrel was pointing up, curious where things came down.

This is a couple years old but has some good facts and figures on guns.
The dumb ass was probably a liberal plant, put in to do this on purpose.
Very, very lucky no one was killed. It’s hard to believe that anyone in our hobby wouldn’t carefully check all of their firearms before even packing them up to go to the gun show.
Years ago I asked to look at a Remington Model 748 and when I picked it up I checked the chamber and a live .30-06 ejected from the chamber. Crazy!
Administration red flag? (Foil hat pulled down to ears.)
Guns are dangerous and people make mistakes. That’s why we have the safety rules. You have to break 2 of them at the same time for someone to get hurt.
