What this black conservative just did should strike FEAR into every single progressive’s heart

Well, Tuesday in Kentucky history was made. First of all, the Bluegrass State elected only its second Republican governor in 40 years, Matt Bevin. And may I add that Governor-Elect Bevin spent four years active duty service in the U.S. Army as an Artillery officer — Go Redlegs!

But there was an even BIGGER story coming out of Kentucky Tuesday night.

As reported by National Review Online:

Matt Bevin’s 53 percent to 44 percent victory tonight marks only the second time in 48 years that Republicans have won the Kentucky governor’s race. But Republicans also made history in another way. Bevin’s lieutenant governor running-mate, Jenean Hampton, is now the first African American elected to statewide office ever in the state’s history.

I heard her interviewed on the radio a couple of weeks ago. I don’t care what race she is. I was very impressed.

“What this black conservative just did should strike FEAR into every single progressive’s heart”

Why shouldn’t the married progressives be afraid, too?

Jenean Hampton (Bevins’ Black, running mate for Lt. Gov.) is now the first African American elected to statewide office ever in the state’s history.

I’m sure a lot of Blacks voted Republican in this race and that’s why Bevin won by such a large margin. If the GOP nominee is white, they might want to consider Carson for VP. Now, for all my FReeper friends who are going to scream “Identity Politics”, I say: Who gives a s**t?

Well, if we're going to suggest Black VPs, I'll nominate Ken Blackwell. I worked on his (unsuccessful) campaign for governor of Ohio. I thought he would have made a great governor, and I even think he'd make a great President.

I think Cruz/Carson would be just about unbeatable. The democrats can't win without 99% of the black vote. Just pulling 20-30% of the black vote destroys the numbers for democrats.

From LTC West’s article: “This goes to further prove that constitutional conservative principles are not the playground of old white males...” Absolutely true! Virtually every one of the old white males (and females) in both parties are progressives of one shade or another.

Allen West - a brilliant man, a patriot, a member of the TEA Party, a victim of the GOP establishment and my choice for vice president.

HOOAH!!
