Isn’t that their anthem? Woe, Canada. Unfortunately for Canada, the Bakken stops at the North Dakota line. The equivalent in Alberta is called the Exshaw but no one yet has been able to crack the code, as far as I know.

Not true. The Bakken oil field extends to southeast Saskatchewan and southwest Manitoba. And we have horizontal drilling technology.
