I might have a bit of a vested interest here since I am an amateur gospel song writer on the side, trying with another colleague to get some attention.

I have concentrated on love themes, and that is an essential piece of the message. But I have also included warning and trouble themes. The pons asinorum here as I see it is to get people to realize they are doing it to themselves as a result of bucking God, which ties to the event classically called the fall of mankind.
