President Obama on Thursday denounced Donald J. Trump's campaign promise to deploy a "deportation force" to round up millions of immigrants in the country illegally and send them home, calling it unrealistic and un-American.
"The notion that we're going to deport 11, 12 million people from this country - first of all, I have no idea where Mr. Trump thinks the money's going to come from," Mr. Obama said in an interview with George Stephanopoulos of ABC News. "It would cost us hundreds of billions of dollars to execute that."
"Imagine the images on the screen flashed around the world as we were dragging parents away from their children, and putting them in what, detention centers, and then systematically sending them out," Mr. Obama added. "Nobody thinks that that is realistic. But more importantly, that's not who we are as Americans."
Mr. Trump's plan to deport illegal immigrants generated sharp exchanges at the Republican presidential debate on Tuesday night as both former Gov. Jeb Bush of Florida and Gov. John R. Kasich of Ohio dismissed it as unrealistic while Senator Ted Cruz of Texas supported him.

Why would it be filmed and shown around the world? I would declare anyone who filmed deportation actions (for propaganda purposes) to be declared an "enemy combatant" and shot on sight. Problem solved.

On the contrary, I want it filmed. I want the world to see that we will no longer take any crap from enemies that want to destroy us.

Trump is saying enforce the Law—You don’t like it—change the law—In The early years of the republic if a person lived in the USA for 15 years, he was automatically a citizen. This changed and there were no anchor babies. Now, no one wants to “Offend” the Mexicans and others. My Take: 1. Build the Wall—use Illegals for workers—them that build the wall at low pay—get to stay. Make it a wonder of the world—Not a fence but a huge friggin’ wall to rival the Great Wall of China.
2. All Carrer Criminals out! Gangbangers, Drug runners, rapists—all the bad apples hang em or lock them in slave factories to labor foor 12 hour days or die.
3. All Illegals who serve as warriors—and earn an honorable discharge get citizenship—all who help as fireman, police, or good teachers—get a pass. They earned it.
4. Pass BOR’s Law—You do a violent act serve 5 years.
5. Make sancuary Cities illegal—any Mayor of city workers enforce these illegal laws go to prison.
6. Anyone who hires an illegal goes to prison for five years—big company or small— Even if you hire a day worker for five hours—go to jail! Turn in someone who hires illegals earn $5,000.
7. No more instant citizenship on birth—If they leave the US soil—the Citizenship is revoked.

Where does the money to house, feed, educate, medicate and impression these illegals come from, obamao?
I wish someone would just once have the guts to say that xyz costs as much as one of the Obama family vacations, next time BO decides to worry about where the money is coming from. Maybe cite the costs of just one of his golf outings or the Mooch’s ski trips.
