"Is he trying to steal Trump’s immigration plan now?"

Yes, every word Cruz speaks and everything he does is stolen from Trump. Trump owns the copyright on all speech and every action. Everything originated with him.

BTW, just for your information, Cruz was talking about a border fence in 2013.

That isn’t exactly true. He was talking about upping H-1B visas by 500% Get your facts straight - then report back.

Google it. You can find plenty of information on it. From 2013.

Speaking of facts, the other night you asserted that Cruz supporters describe our candidate as "perfect". I asked you for a single example, and you hightailed it out of the thread.

Ever find that proof?

I am sorry you don’t understand the reason for the H-1B proposal.

Cruz gave a ton of “valid” reasons for increasing H1-Bs, two years ago:

Funny how Cruz doesn’t say he’s flip-flopped.

I’m sorry you support Ted Cruz’s admitted lies.

The only one lying on this thread is you.

Read this press release:

http://www.cruz.senate.gov/?p=press_release&id=137

And listen to this radio interview from yesterday (Laura Ingraham):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQwLD-yj_fE

Start at the seven minute mark to the end and compare what he now says to what his own press release says and justifies.

I'm not sure about the wisdom of keeping out highly skilled immigrants.

Last year I was asked by a former colleague to write a letter of recommendation for a young man who had come to the US on a student visa and obtained a PhD in my technical field. The young man wanted to get a green card, and eventually to become a citizen. I was happy to do so. I thought he was the kind of immigrant we want. Better to have him here, working on high technology in America, than back in China, working on high technology there.

Yes, this young man will compete with American engineering graduates for a job. However, it would not surprise me at all to find him, a few years hence, starting a company and creating jobs.

Keeping out skilled immigrants would be, as my mother used to say, cutting off your nose to spite your face.

No, you took some statements by Cruz, and stated with context and with your own spin, that he was lying.

Unless you are God, and last I checked you are not, you have no means to read the mind of Cruz at that point of time, or now, and declare he was lying then or now.

That is why YOU are lying.

You're clueless. H-1B - KILL IT!

Difference between Romney and Cruz, is he has proven he is a man of his word, so if he changes his stance, he follows through.

On Friday, he promised to suspend the H1-B program for 180 days to investigate - and prosecute - potential abuse. He said he changed his position after learning that some companies, including nearby Disney World, might be abusing the program.

Gee everyone on K-street knew the H-1B scam has been going on for decades. I guess Cruz is late to the party.

180 days? How about 180 years.....

Laura asked him about his prior H1-B stance, and he said that was merely to smoke out the Democrats.

If you read his press release and justifications within, you know this is where he stands. He honestly thought the US had a severe shortage if STEM grads, which is what the Chamber of Commerce has stated for some time, but is completely untrue.

Cruz was bought and paid for, but he knew the scam that was/is H-1B. He is stepping off of the Cheap Labor Express tentatively at best. Baby steps.

And I’m sorry that you don’t understand the need to get that wall built and illegals deported. We don’t need no more guest workers right now - we need a respite.

I agree completely, I think 300,000 legal immigrants a year is a good number. The H1b program should be abolished and those non Muslim immigrants with degrees simply placed at the top of the list.
