Police in the western German city of Aachen arrested five people, at least three of them foreign citizens, on Tuesday in an operation linked to the militant attacks last Friday in Paris that killed 129 people.
A special police response unit overpowered two women and one man outside a job centre in Alsdorf, a small town near Aachen close to Germany's border with Belgium and the Netherlands.
"After the terror attacks last Friday in Paris and the search for the perpetrators and the people pulling the strings, police in Aachen got a lead to suspicious individuals in Alsdorf," a police statement said.

We were in Aachen too a few years ago. Wanted to see Charlemagne’s throne (which was only open 11:15 to 11:45 or something obscene). We didn’t wait. It was totally inner-city, very Muslim-rich, at least where we stayed.

I was there in the 70s before all this Muslim crap. A lot nicer then. Wife was there in Germany a couple of months ago...she saw virtually nothing but Muslims in Wiesbaden.

If the authorities keep pulling on the threads of those Islamic terrorist connections they will probably soon have thousands in custody. Maybe millions.
With the changes to allow officers to enter establishments etc. they’re going to be arresting and finding a whole lot of things they would not have before this, and arrests galore we will not hear of.
