I was wondering if a poll would come out on this. Looks like one has and it is not good news for Obama. The majority want a halt to this nonsense.

Since when has popular opinion ever swayed the Current Regime when there is some agenda they want to pursue?

By similar margins, legalizing homosexual marriages was resisted by the voters when it came up on the ballot, but they just found a tame judge, and had it overturned, and by careful selection of the appeals venues, managed to get the perversion of public intent sealed by the Supreme Court, therefore it is “the law of the land”.

Similar shenanigans were used to ram through the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, by making long promises to a number of the legislators that were sitting on the fence, and only by the most tortured of legal arguments, this monstrosity was declared “Constitutional”, despite the widespread resistance to acceptance by the voting public, but again, it has become “the law of the land”.

It is getting to where “the law of the land” does not mean at all what it once did.

Good. They got through their “law of the land”. Now let them come enforce it.

Mahatma Gandhi got the British to make a much better deal for the Indian subcontinent though something called “civil disobedience”. It may involve some several people sitting out some prison time, and widespread clashes with the “national civilian security corps” (not the local police), but this stranglehold by jack-booted thugs CAN be broken.

The Second Amendment is there for a reason.
