No, it’s only bipartisan if Republicans cave in to the Rats.
Steve King voted no. that tells me this bill is nothing but methane.
But will it really pause the migration? Obama said he wins with this, will be able to proceed. Laura Ingram says it’s a fig leaf because the WH will just shove a bunch of paperwork out certifying refugees.
Explain?
Steve King is our premire conservative in the house on illegal immigration. if he doesn’t like the bill then it’s likely a very bad bill.
How can voting to keep out possible terrorists and free loaders be bad?
That’s the best “fork you” graphic I’ve ever seen, and I *will* be stealin’ it! :’)
so you’ve read the bill?
You’re right. I meant 2 republicans abstained and 6 democrats.
If the republicans do not change that leaves the yea number at 289 with no changes by democrats.
If the democrats go with Obama, then that makes 143 nay votes. Twice 143 = 286, so they are 2 democrats away from preventing an override.
Can Obama get the 6 abstaining demcrats and 2 democrats to change? Depending on the Senate, he might not even need to try.
Have you? Why would you think it is bad? What is your problem. I think this is great standing up to Obastard.
No, I read someplace that he would oppose it because it did not give preference to Christian refugees.
If I am reading this correctly, they just gave him the green light to allow them to come in? All that is their is that someone says they are vetted by the best of our abilities. This is a green light!!
no. because it came out of lyin ryan’s house and it got dem support.
Can someone show me where it says that this stops them from coming into the country?
It depends on the integrity of the intelligence and FBI communities, doesn’t it?
But, it will slow it down. It will get us about 6 months closer to Obama being gone.
ok. that’s not any reason to oppose the import of syrian terrorists. if so, i’ll reevalute my opinon of steve king. however i’ll wait to hear his reasons from his own mouth.
It doesn’t say that. It was all over the news yesterday that it doesn’t say that. What it says is that the intelligence community, the FBI, and Homeland Security each have to certify that each applicant has met their approval after their own vetting of that person.
Well then, if Haabbib says his name is Akmed and there is no record of the Jihaddist then it is ok for him to come in? We have no record.
This is Amnesty!
After the events in Paris on 11/13, I will be adding
this to my posts for the next week. I'm certain our
turn is coming again soon. We stand united against
Islamic extremists.
Some music for reflection if the mood strikes you.

An honorable mention also goes out to Lassana Bathily , a Muslim immigrant from Mali.
Mr. Bathily sheltered customers at the Jewish Deli and helped police by providing info
on the terrorists, and providing the location of survivors in the deli.
