The USA, in backing the Saudi's gambit to overthrow Assad - failed and the end result is Iran is seen as more a rational player than the American Sunni Gulf Arabs who sponsor ISIS and al-Nusra/al-Qaeda.
If you (speaking in general) supported the McCain effort to overthrow Assad then you are to blame for this development.
