You ought to read the online Cumberland Times-News like I do. There's been a substantial uptick of crime in the area over the last few years involving perps of a certain ethnic persuasion, usually from the Baltimore area. And drugs are the #1 reason. If my elderly mother didn't have such an aversion to them and she'd probably get arrested for using it anyway, I'd give her one of my guns to keep in her nightstand. As it is, she lives behind locked doors and a batshit-crazy alarm system after dark. And in a town where nobody ever worried about locks on anything 25 or 30 years ago. The same thing should be done to Annapolis that Sherman did to Atlanta.
