It is certain to be a contributing factor, and it is a certainty that our society at the present is a cesspit.But not solely or even primarily because 6.4% of Americans age 12 or older abused or were dependent on alcohol at some time during 2014. And putting inflated profits in criminal hands for violence and bribery as Prohibition did certainly was very detrimental to society.
