Richard G. Greenleaf Professor Ph.D., University of Florida Dr. Greenleaf, the founding director of the criminal justice major at Elmhurst College, is a former police sergeant in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and executive director of the Community Policing Institute in Oregon. His specialty is in criminological theory and international policing. He has published his research in numerous journals, including Criminology, Journal of Research in Crime and Delinquency, Asian Journal of Criminology, Journal of Criminal Justice, Journal of Ethnicity in Criminal Justice and Western Criminological Review. He has been an invited speaker at numerous universities in the People's Republic of China, including Hua Zhong University (Wuhan), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (Chengdu), and Shanghai University of Political Science and Law. He is currently working on the government’s response to mass demonstrations in the PRC.
