From the article—fits Bildo’s MO:
The authors claim Bill âtried to seduce herâ in her Fifth Avenue apartment.
âWe almost indulged in a wrestling match. It was most embarrassing,â they report Jackie told friend Katharine Graham, the former Washington Post publisher.
âI mean, I was flattered that I turned him on so much at my age, but Bill was just like Jack [Kennedy] in the sense that neither of them wanted to take ânoâ for an answer. Ever since that day, I prefer not to be alone with Bill.â
The book claims that while Graham didnât spill the beans, she once repeated the anecdote to Truman Capote over dinner, and he spread the story.

The presence of Capote in this story makes it far less credible, IMO, insofar as he died in 1984. So, for it to be true, we have to believe Jackie was entertaining a second term governor of Arkansas who no one had heard of at that point.
Rather shallow that Jackie thought she was desirable to Bill....
....he only wanted a conquest and bragging rights!
And Graham would never say anything bad about a Democrat.
