WASHINGTON, Dec. 1 (UPI) -- For 25 days in a row, U.S. drivers have seen the retail price for gasoline fall and that should be the prevailing trend through year's end, AAA reports.
The motor club reports a national average retail price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline at $2.04, a fraction of a cent less than Monday and 15 cents, or 6.7 percent, less than one month ago.
In a weekly report on the retail sector, AAA said the end to an unusually busy season of refinery maintenance, largely in the Great Lakes states, and slumping demand are behind the steady decline in gasoline prices.

Will it drop to $1.50 per gallon? Even lower?
Paid $1.59 in SE TX this morning.
I remember when gas retailers gave away stuff, like serrated knives.
Serrated knives?
Man that smells like terrorism if ya ask me.
Unleaded is still overpriced compared with crude. But I don’t think it will get that low on a national average basis unless crude drops some more. (Around here, you can already find it below $1.70, but with many stations in the $1.70 to $1.80 range)
The post below you in the menu has 0bama yappin’ about how he’ll have to RAISE gasoline taxes to fight Climate Change.

Seriously, Folks. When have you EVER known Mother Government to give us a break?
All our glassware growing up was from gas stations. You wash them enough over the years and the logo wears off.

Conspiracy by Saudi Arabia to crush Amurrican domestic drillers /sarcasm

Obamaclaus gives cheap gas for Festivus! And gets credit for fighting the climate at the same time!
Lower gas prices, combined with a Kroger gas rewards card taking it down another 50 cents/gal, combined with just paid our final house payment, this is a brief economic moment to savor.
A couple of weeks back, a couple of stations has regular unleaded at $1.49/gallon. This was east of Dallas.
There is a floor to the lower limit due to built in taxes. I would think in some states it is as much a a dollar.
We still have ours. Brown handle with a 4” blade.
We lived in New Jersey and way back then you could pump your own gas! Price in Florida yesterday was $1.94/gal. regular.
