CALLER: I called to talk to you about how they're trying to kook Trump out. He's been going on about after 9/11 the celebrations.

RUSH: Right.

CALLER: And he doubled down on 'em. Now, I'm here in south Jersey, Rush. Next they'll try to kook out Ted Cruz, by the way. Everybody I speak with here -- now, I lived through 9/11, I started listening to you right after 9/11, only by accident, and I could give you some examples of people, I won't say their names, very reputable people here that everybody remembers, okay. I'll give you one. I'll start off with: Morning talk show host, 25 years, Christie supporter. He remembers it. Spoke to him yesterday. Big time talk show host here, 18 years, he remembers it. Retired Marine, he remembers it. Retired council member, he remembers it. The best is the last, though. Two people walking on the boardwalk, Rubio supporters, they remembered it, okay? I told 'em Rubio didn't, though. The best is for last. The gentleman working in Paterson, New Jersey, on 9/13, he was closing his store, the turnpike was closed, he had to drive through Paterson, he is all them celebrating on the rooftops, throwing candy to the kids.

Rush did a great job today on this subject.

Cruz is my #1, but the more they attack Trump the more I like him. He really does get under their skin and you can smell the fear because he won’t play by their rules.

Remember back a few administrations, when one important person said, "In our country during the '50s and '60s, black churches were burned to intimidate civil rights workers. I have vivid and painful memories of black churches being burned in my own state when I was a child."

And even as nobody could unearth any incidences of church burnings in Arkansas during that time, not much was made of it among the so-called journalists.

Amazing, ha? The media are fact checking Trump like crazy so we need to fact check their sources like crazy and ensure they get called out at every turn all over social media and on freerepublic.

I feel the same way. Cruz is my first choice, but I like what Trump is doing.

Just as Bernie Sanders is setting the edge (socialism) for the lefties, Trump is redefining how conservatives should deal with the media. NEVER apologize.

Can you imaging Trump after something like the ‘47% will never vote for me.’ “ It’s true that IF you want to keep stay on the dole and live off the crumbs the Democrats hand you, you won’t vote for me. Ever. But I think you should re-think that and vote for a job and a future by voting for me.”

Romney reacted poorly and the press jumped all over the weakness.

That’s because Bill Clinton’s musings about black churches being burned fit the narrative being pushed by the media. Just like the myth of black church burnings during the 1996 campaign, all of which turned out to be either hoaxes, insurance frauds, or internal church disputes.
