FreeRepublic.com is wholly unique in this space for two primary reasons that work together like no other.
1. The FR platform and its historical content isn’t “Archived” in a separate section, it’s the whole.
2. Freepers read everything and have an extraordinary memory.
In addition, there are those Freepers that are really good at documenting, categorizing and saving information for future reference.
Most “News” organizations will use Lexis-Nexus, Bloomberg etc., to conduct a search in their effort to provide history and context to a story. The “so-called” journalist and their team of researchers approach most stories with fresh eyes and have literally no idea of the stories context and therefore are unable to search for the real truth.
They don’t know what they don’t know.
On the other hand, FreeRepublic.com has hundreds of people that do this every single day and have been doing it for years on end.
God Bless our Free Republic and all the Freepers that make this site the best on the web for news and information.
