You can trust CAIR no further than you can throw them. They are part of the enemy, their propagandist arm of the Jihad movement in the U.S. They must be watched ever so closely as they are the mouthpiece of a terrorist organization, part of the Muslim Brotherhood, and indirectly complicit by covering up the crimes of their brethren. CAIR is trying to lull the gullible amongst us into believing their Islamic religion is not the extreme danger to our fellow Christians and citizens that it really is.
CAIR is scared of coming backlash. They are shedding crocodile tears. You are right, do not trust them. That is how Islam operates, pretending to be peaceful until their numbers get large enough to impose Sharia on the non-believers.
I totally agree, and I called this one about a decade ago when someone I respect tried to get us to affiliate with them for outreach.
