(chuckle)...fwiw...I watched that same segment and was appalled at Cammerota’s shameless mental acrobatics in favor of protecting the eternal war doctrine of Islam.
What it may be was him following the tenets of his faith- as a muslim he is required to offer his victims a chance to convert before killing them, especially if they are “people of the book.”
AlQaeda, for example, before carrying out attacks puts out a message calling for people to convert.
For at least two weeks prior to 9/11 there were muslims all over the web trying to push their religion on other commentators.
Individual “lone wolf” terrorists have been known to do it to, depending on how well they really know their faith.
I suspect Faeouk/Farooq went in and tried to do this at the party, trying to convert people to Islam or warn them for not doing so and when people did not respond favorably he figured he had done his religious duty and it was time to act.

It in incumbent upon the US Congress to sidestep the president in matters of national security if he’s negligent in his responsibilities. However, the POTUS is well beyond “negligent”. I believe his actions are treasonous.

I have seen gun free zone signs on a lot of places where they would be redundant. But I am sure there are the same signs there. How many attacks have been made against places where guns are carried and freely accessible?

Seems the lead attacker worked at the site, so he was aware of the “gun free” status of the building. (They’ll try to spin this as “workplace violence” as a result.) Then again, CA as a whole is largely “gun free”.
There _have_ been attacks at “places where guns are carried and freely accessible”. Thing is, they were stopped almost immediately - so precisely because the attack was stopped by a good guy with a gun, the bodycount did not rise to the definition of “mass murder” and is duly ignored by anti-gun advocates.

I have been trying to find the “warning” that was printed with the koran in it’s first American publication in the early 19th century. I believe the story was Jefferson himself gave it to a printer and demanded it be printed with the rest of their unholy book, so that future generations would be warned.
