A man who was linked Wednesday to the San Bernardino, Calif., shootings was described by someone who identified himself as his father as a Muslim who was "very religious."
NBC News has reported that one of the suspects killed by police after the shootings at the Inland Regional Center is Syed Farook.
Farook and a woman were killed in a gunfight with police in nearby Redlands after the rampage at the center that killed 14 people and wounded 17 others.
San Bernardino County records showed that someone with that name was an employee at the county's Environmental Health Department. The department had gathered on Wednesday for a holiday party at the Inland center.

Just got to work, but during the drive in, I had the radio on. News announcer said a woman who lived near these people had been seeing ME males working nights in the garage, people coming and going at all hours, deliveries being made all the time.
She thought about calling the police and reporting the suspicious activity, but she did not want to racially profile.
My God. She could have saved some lives. But she had to be politically correct.
I don’t envy her what she has to live with now.

There may be some kind of work connection to this. Whether it’s a matter of disagreement with some at work, poor performance, feelings of bad treatment or bias or whatever. However, it seems that his religious formalization (I call radicalizing) coupled with the traveling and the quickness a team was assembled to murder isn’t just ‘workplace violence’. It was cold, ruthless planning.
Workplace violence is a convenient excuse for havoc spurred on by a religion that fosters terrorism.
