Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, and she describes herself as a "touring queer riot-folksinger." For three years, she also campaigned on behalf of Tarek Mehanna, an open admirer of Osama Bin Laden who was convicted of aiding al-Qaeda in 2012.

al-Qaeda loves the queer riots. Yes, I read the article: apparently she has believed that Mehanna was unjustly convicted by racists. Even so, she describes herself as having helped certain "Muslim communities," and I wonder what the people in them think of such sexual orientations.
