Just read up on Huey Long, looks like he needed shooting.
Sadly, it’ll take armed conflict to right the ship.
Huey was what I call an Honest Crook. He never tried too hard to conceal his political corruption. People in Louisiana actually benefited from his governance. He was a threat and was eliminated.
My point is not to glorify “Ole Huey” but to point out that he was viewed as a threat to the then “establishment” and thus eliminated. The same will happen today if any politician becomes a real threat to today’s establishment.
