ZOA to Trump: 'We’re disappointed and alarmed'

Front-running Rep. candidate who opposed Iran deal says Middle East peace depends on more Israeli 'sacrifices.'

Front-running Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump, generally hawkish on Muslims-vs.-West issues, has alarmed some pro-Israel elements in the United Statements with a speech he delivered on Thursday.

Peace between Israel and the Palestinian Authority "has to do with Israel and whether or not Israel's willing to sacrifice certain things," Trump told the Jewish Republican Coalition. This, despite his acknowledgement that Israel had already made many difficult moves for the sake of a peace agreement.

Trump also made several remarks that were quickly accused of bearing anti-Semitic intonations. “I’m a negotiator like you folks are," he said, noting that if he had brokered the deal with Iran, it would have been on better terms for the West than the current deal negotiated by President Obama and Secretary Kerry.

Later he said, not antagonistically, “Is there anyone in this room who doesn’t negotiate deals? Probably more than any room I’ve ever spoken." He added that the Jews would not support him for president "even though you know I’m the best thing that could ever happen to Israel… You're not going to support me because I don’t want your money.”%

NO NO NO NO Israel does not have to give up anything , she needs to protect her people .

They could give up 99% of their land and it would change NOTHING .

The fake palestinians terrorist do not deserve a nation , they do not want peace . What they want is the destruction of Israel and that stance of theirs has never changed .

America is cursed with the leaders it has for trying to force Israel to divide that land . Every single time America has try to do this something terrible has happened to this country . Ask Bush about his Kennebunkport home and what happened to it and what he was doing on that day .

Another President that wants to do the same is only going to drive us further under .

This shows a lack of understanding of the Palestinian goals.

As you rightly say, they do not want anything except the annihilation of Israel.

Trump stepped in it. He accidentally said what he thinks. Oh, wait, he always does that. Stream of consciousness idiocy.

If Israel did not exist, the muslims would find something to fight over. And why do I say that? Because they have, since about 680AD.....

This is baloney.

I watched Trump’s speech to the Jewish group this week.

He very clearly indicated, he was not going to be go overboard toward Israel. He said his own daughter is Jewish. He is NOT against Israel.

He did however not elaborate, because he thinks he is indeed going to win the election, and doesn’t want to mistakenly say anything inappropriate at this point.

We’ve sort of beaten this topic to death already on this forum.

Then why did the Jewish folk go 78% for Obama?

Please discuss.

Not so.

Trump is completely in the right, and supportive of Israel.

He did not go into specific details, because he’s going to have to deal with both sides after he is elected, and doesn’t want to make the job harder.

It is that simple.

You should probably watch the speech to see what was actually said.

They are NOT PALESTINIANS, they are ARABS and muslims. They are the progeny of invaders from centuries past, not natives.

This politically correct, walking on eggshells BS needs to be confronted and beaten. The sooner the better. On average, Jews tend to be good in business and negotiating. Most people would take that as a compliment. I wasn’t at all offended by his comment, and I’m half-Jewish. Anyone who wasn’t looking ahead of time for things to criticize, could see that his comment wasn’t mean spirited.

They (and you?)(intentionally?) totally misunderstood what he said.

He meant that the other side would accept nothing less, NOT that Israel should.

You can’t reason with the anti-Trump people. They lack basic common sense and rush to post negatives and read negatives into everything. They lack critical thinking skills. Might as well save your breath.

I am part Jewish myself and am sick and tired of “American Jews” voting for the left.

They have NO argument about anything. Barrack Hussein Obama got 78% of the Jewish vote in 2008.

Fools.

I have been ignoring this, but this post just caught my eye.

Trump is ramping up, and it appears he will be our next president.

These kind of whining posts, are posts which need to be responded to. Trump is not a go-along-get-along guy, and that is what people are responding to.

He’s got fortitude.

It is so nice, to see that again in a presidential candidate.

The Zionist Organization of America (ZOA), the oldest pro-Israel organization in the United States, announced that it was "alarmed, outraged and disappointed" by Trump's "factually inaccurate and ludicrous claim that a successful peace deal between Israel and the Palestinian Arab dictators" depends on Israel and its willingness to make more sacrifices.

Strong and very definite language there.

Ah geesh, not this crap agin. It has been hammered to death around here.

It is all BS. Trump and Netanyahuu are great frieds. Bibi asked Trump to cut a endorsement video for him for his election.

This has all been misconstrued.

Enough of this.
