“Lack of funding” is a weak red herring if Haney can produce the emails he said he FOIAd that specifically say that the reason for shutting him down was the jihadi group he was investigating and anything Islamic at all.
Besides, I don’t think a department gets shut down for lack of funding by sending State Dept. and DHS operatives to give them the news.

I have heard one journalist say there was no evidence the house had been dusted for fingerprints. I was figuring they wanted a multitude of fingerprints in that house to obscure the terrorist fingerprints they may have found. Or possibly the prints of undercover agents. Or corrupted agents.
