Lucky for us the republicrats control the house and senate to keep us safe from these illegal, unconstitutional acts by the lyin' king because...................... Oh.

Hmmm. Didn't this recently become a law in a certain western state that is being ignored(possibly) wholesale by the citizens(and most local leo's) concerning this issue?

The Congress needs to grow up, take off their dresses and put on their man pants and begin the impeachment process. Time is running out for America.

They want to know where every gun is so that when they grab them they can easily find them. That is their thinking.

No matter what they are wearing, they will still be venal, corrupt and elitist.

They could also require mandatory registration of all firearms and get the ones not being sold.

That worked pretty well in NY. I think they got about 13% compliance.

I think the initials are OREGON. Nannie bloomers spent a butt load of $$$$ getting it passed there and now has his eyes set on NV for the upcoming (s)elections. Ballot initiative #2 I believe will be voted on and the know nothings will vote for it so there will NEVER be any more domestic violence or criminals getting guns. At least that’s basically what they were sold the petition on. And twice as many as needed signed it. Mostly women from what I saw.

Not that this administration cares, but an executive order mandating registration for all firearms would be a direct violation of existing federal law prohibiting a registry.

I am against this ridiculous action as it would do nothing to stop the problem they’re trying to stop and only infringes on law abiding citizen’s rights, however gun owners are fooling themselves if they think the govt couldn’t find the guns fairly quickly now just by the amount of photos and social media posts on gun related pages, Internet traffic that is monitored, credit card purchases of ammo and firearms, and, yes, let’s no forget how many “friends and family” know about a person’s guns and ammo stash. Think “see something, say something” is just a fancy slogan? Between all the above and the incessant nanny state telling children in schools guns = bad, I don’t think it would take too much detective work to figure out where it all is.

By the way, I hope you don’t take that nice S&W 8-shot .357 with you when you go fishing. Accidents happen.

Is WND now an acceptable news source? They have been steadfast in their reporting for... 20 years? While Freepers have insulted them, minimized them... Favoring the WP, the NYT, anything but little “World Nut Daily.” I wonder what the “Free Press” would be like if so many on FR had their way? Maybe we could post about how Oprah prepares tofu.

When they come to get the guns, instead of pleading the 5th Amendment, we should plead the 2nd amendment.

Finding them may be easier than grabbing them.
