The Bible also says, “Come, let us reason together.”

There is nothing wrong with instituting a temporary ban until we get effective screening measures in place. The ban is a common sense measure to reduce risk from immigrants from countries with jihadi terrorist groups in them.

I fail to see how it is “anti-Christian” to bar Muslims (who are not Christian and do not worship the same God as we do).

Muslim anti-Muslim bigotry trumps anything Trump would do in his wildest imagination.

Unlike nationality, ISIS and its many counterparts (Taliban/AlQada/Hamas, etc) don’t so much have a territorial as religious bond that brings them together. It is that common bond that the US must carefully examine before letting those who seek to harm us and our way of life enter our country.

Folks seemed to have had no qualms when Jimmie Carter expelled @ 50,000 Iranians, whose common bond was their nationality. And probably 49,000 of whom were not anti-USA. Why the fuss now in wanting to examine carefully the 100,000+ Muslims whose religion is their common bond to terrorist groups, but to whom Obama would offer unfettered, ill-vetted entry?

Have we as a nation become that suicidal in 35 years? I fear we all know the answer.

Time needs to revisit American History--and the values that it represents so clearly.

Religious considerations as to settlements in America could not be clearer. All up & down the Atlantic coastal States, you will find religious factors in who settled in what communities--many deliberately intended to represent particular theological views, values & desired associations.

The Founding Father made it very clear, also, in leaving virtually all social value questions our of the delegations to Congress, that moral issues were left to the States, many rooted in particular religious sentiments. Equally clear is the way the First Amendment was worded, to forbid any Federal interference with local religious establishments--read it for yourselves.

Then Time needs to come to grips with the precise language in the Preamble, which defines the purposes for even having a Federal Union--and again it is specific to a specific people--the Founders and their "posterity," their lineal descendants. It is about preserving their liberty to be themselves; certainly, not forcing them to act like "citizens of the world"--or something equally fanciful.

It is a gigantic and outrageous lie, that a particular people deciding to protect their continuity, are somehow wronging any other people. We need to stop accepting the insults of those who want to diversify the heritages of the world's unique peoples into some form of social chaos--where nothing is sacred; where all achievements are effectively appropriated by social theorists.

There is absolutely nothing morally wrong--or even controversial among rational people--in any community wanting to preserve their heritage for their own posterity. On the other hand, there is a great deal that is wrong with a President, sworn to uphold the Constitution, but deliberately flooding rooted American communities with re-settlements of large numbers of strangers who adhere to completely incongruous value systems.

It is not Trump who is betraying American values. It is the lying slanderers who are pulling out the stops to try to arrest his campaign.

To the rectums at Time pretending to be concerned Christians.

Time’s whining mediots need to update their knowledge of immigration law to 1952!

Federal Law re no entry to bad people wanting to come to America, which the Christian Jimmy Carter used to get rid of possible bad Iranians. The same Jimmy Carter, who teaches Sunday school every Sunday at his Christian Church.

This law was passed in 1952 by a Democrat controlled congress, signed by a democrat president, Truman and okayed by a Democrat controlled Supreme Court.

Jimmy Carter, the kind hearted Cino Democrat, used this law while he was president to prevent Iranians from coming to America and get many in America, sent back to Iran.

Per existing federal law at 8 USC 1182:

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to appropriate.

Current laws banning admission to the US, and not requiring new laws. Just need someone like Trump to have them enforced:

gpo~government printing office:
No admission for any alien for Security and related grounds
(3) Security and related grounds
(A) In general
Any alien who a consular officer or the Attorney General knows, or has reasonable ground to believe, seeks to enter the United States to engage solely, principally, or incidentally in
(i) any activity (I) to violate any law of the United States relating to espionage or sabotage or (II) to violate or evade any law prohibiting the export from the United States of goods, technology, or sensitive information,
(ii) any other unlawful activity, or
(iii) any activity a purpose of which is the opposition to, or the control or overthrow of, the Government of the United States by force, violence, or other unlawful means,
is inadmissible.
(B) Terrorist activities
(i) In general
Any alien who
(I) has engaged in a terrorist activity;
(II) a consular officer, the Attorney General, or the Secretary of Homeland Security knows, or has reasonable ground to believe, is engaged in or is likely to engage after entry in any terrorist activity (as defined in clause (iv));
(III) has, under circumstances indicating an intention to cause death or serious bodily harm, incited terrorist activity;
(IV) is a representative (as defined in clause (v)) of
(aa) a terrorist organization (as defined in clause (vi)) or
(bb) a political, social, or other group that endorses or espouses terrorist activity;
(V) is a member of a terrorist organization described in subclause (I) or (II) of clause (vi)
(VI) is a member of a terrorist organization described in clause (vi)(III), unless the alien can demonstrate by clear and convincing evidence that the alien did not know, and should not reasonably have known, that the organization was a terrorist organization;
(VII) endorses or espouses terrorist activity or persuades others to endorse or espouse terrorist activity or support a terrorist organization;
(VIII) has received military-type training (as defined in section 2339D(c)(1) of title 18) from or on behalf of any organization that, at the time the training was received, was a terrorist organization (as defined in clause (vi)); or

(IX) is the spouse or child of an alien who is inadmissible under this subparagraph, if the activity causing the alien to be found inadmissible occurred within the last 5 years,
is inadmissible. An alien who is an officer, official, representative, or spokesman of the Palestine Liberation Organization is considered, for purposes of this chapter, to be engaged in a terrorist activity.

Rush Limbaugh discusses how Jimmy Carter used this law to expel thousands of Iranians.

The Trump Nutty Proposal Is Already the Law of the Land
Rush Limbaugh.com ^ | December 9, 2015 | Rush Limbaugh
Over here, everybody in the establishment in the political class, Republican, Democrat, media, you name it, is all claiming that what Trump said is dumb, stupid, reckless, dangerous, unconstitutional, while it is the law of the land. And it was utilized by Jimmy Carter, no less, in 1979 to keep Iranians out of the United States, but he actually did more. He made all Iranian students already here check in, and then he deported a ton of them.

There is precedent for everything Donald Trump has said he wants to do. And if you listen to the wizards of smart in this country and our political establishment, you will think that this stuff is just unheard of, it is almost unspeakable, it’s just indecent. Here we have in the establishment the reputed best and brightest, the smartest. We are not even qualified to be in their company no less. And they’re dunces on this.

In November the 1979 United States attorney general had given all Iranian students one month to report to the local immigration office. Seven thousand were found in violation of their visas, 15,000 Iranians were forced to leave the United States, 1979. When this law, inadmissible aliens I just read to you, which I am gonna be reading a lot to you today to the point you’re gonna get tired of hearing it, but you will not forget it.

Please send this to fellow conservatives, media outlets and to liberals, who need a whack in the head with reality of how their President Truman signed this law and later Carter used it to get rid of a lot of potentially dangerous Iranians.

The sad thing is that those students are so deplorably uninformed about the Bible. How do you come out of Wheaton and be so biblically illiterate?

Really? Really? Really? This guy is delusional. Being sure we are safe has nothing to do with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Mr. Hale and I obviously understand the gospel of Jesus Christ differently. And, I'm someone who doesn't think Trump's plan is workable.

This is bull! The first duty of our government is to protect its citizens from threats both foreign and domestic. The first duty of a Christian man to his family is to protect them from threats both foreign and domestic.

Islam is an evil that will kill and/or enslave all non-Muslims, if allowed. It has been at war with the West for 1300 years. Jihad through the centuries is why there are now over a billion Muslims on earth. There have been lulls in their war on the West but make no mistake, the Koran, Muslims, jihad and Sharia are one. Anyone one with an ounce of sense understands that the Islam (not radical Islam), Islam in general is at war with the West. What will it take to make Western governments wake up?

Oh, oh. Slime “magazine” thinks “da Donald” is anti-Christian. All you Christians out there should be thankful that the Godless liberal bastards down at Time are watching out for you. Of course, those retarded liberals have confused Islamoterrorists who kill Americans with religious people. For those out there of little intelligence, Trump’s proposed ban HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RELIGION and everything to do with Muslims who want to murder Americans. This isn’t rocket science.
