Jesus told the scribes and Pharisees that their father was the “Father of Lies”, and that they search the entire world to find a convert and when they do they make him just as much a son of lies as they are.
How does that reconcile with this “Time” author’s view of what Jesus is all about? Jesus recognizes Satan as the “Father of Lies”, and one of Islam’s tenets is taqiyya - lying in order to deceive the “infidels”. Jesus described the Father of Lies in more detail when He said, “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy”. That is an eerily-accurate description of sharia.

Police and armies, for example, are supposed to protect their citizens. “Render to Caesar” puts that responsibility squarely in the government’s inbox.

You will be saved from the Great Tribulation that is fast upon us, and you will be saved to live forever in the presence of God (Elohim). This gospel is totally personal and says nothing about public policies.
