Philip Haney, a former senior analyst at the Department of Homeland Security, has now come forward to say that in 2012, he was running an effort at the National Targeting Center that would âvery plausiblyâ have flagged Syed Farook â and probably, by association, his bride Tashfeen Malik â because of Farookâs connection with a mosque in San Bernardino, California. But after six months (in 2012), decision-makers in DHS and the State Department shut the effort down.
DHS didnât just leave the effort in place but tell Haney to change his focus. The program itself was shut down, its funding cut and the records Haney had developed destroyed.

Cruz needs to open up an immediate congressional inquiry demanding to know every single investigation into Islamic terrorist that the White House has shutdown in the past 3 years. This is extremely important right now. Has to be done ASAP.
