The mother of a Foxborough High School student says a photo of her daughter with an American flag was rejected by the school for being "offensive." In a widely shared Facebook post, Lisa Truax wrote that the Red Wing Diner, which employs her daughter, purchased a page in the school yearbook to congratulate her. The photo shows her daughter posing in front of a draped American flag. "Does anyone find this photo offensive? Apparently Foxboro High School finds it offensive," Truax wrote. "They won't allow the picture in the yearbook because it's the American flag. We are American! We live in America! OMG what is this country coming to." However, officials at Foxborough High School said in a statement to WCVB that the photo itself was the offensive one

Yes, the mother. Accusing the school of being unpatriotic when her daughter was standing on the flag.
According to the article it was a commercial photography prop, not a an actual American flag.
I wish these commie lib extremists would tell us why they find the American flag so “offensive.” Actually, I, and many other Americans, find all liberal DemocRATS offensive but nobody seems to be doing anything about it.

well, the flag is hung wrong... when hung on a wall indoors the stars ALWAYS goto the flag's own right other than that, not guilty

I don’t agree with my fellow FReepers on this one. I’d be the first one to kick the butt of someone I caught disrespecting the flag the way illegal aliens do down in Phoenix and Tucson. It’s a good thing I don’t live down there. I’d be in jail all the time. This was a prop and not a flag. I’ve seen flags painted on football fields before and people were running and walking all over them. Maybe this was dumb but the girl was trying to be patriotic.
I don’t know, I am all for hanging them outside as well...
