Bet your wrong... I heard Rush’s comments live. His comments were actually pretty mild.

Rush's criticisms of Trump and Cruz were actually fairly innocuous as well.

The point Rush is making is that Trump doesn’t need to attack Cruz.

As everyone else drops out, and their support goes to either Trump or Cruz...even if it breaks 3-to-1 for Cruz-to-Trump, Trump still wins 52-48.
This race is Trump’s to lose.

Trump waited until Cruz attacked him first. Watch the Trump rallies leading up to “the incident” he mentions in many of them how much he likes Cruz and how they share many of the same positions. His return fire on Cruz was obligatory... Trump believes you must retaliate. Other Republicans should take notice.
Cruz made disparaging remarks about Trump when he thought noone was listening. Trump essentially told Cruz, “Come out into the open and say it to my face.” Trump was right on that.
Newt never had a commanding lead since the summer a mile deep.. it was a short bump lead caused by one debate, the demise of Herman Cain and it lasted a couple weeks

The point Rush is making is that Trump doesn’t need to attack Cruz.That's not for Rush to decide. Rush has had nothing to do with Trumps campaign success so far and never will.
Trump needs to keep Cruz on the leash and Rush doesn't like it...Too bad.
But was Newt Gingrich leading the race in June...in July...in August...in September...in October...in November...and now into December - while his lead constantly grew?
the only person the GOPe know they cannot push around is Trump because he will be the last outsider and is self funding.. and they know it.. their last gasp efforts will be to hold their nose and go to the last guy on the list and that’s Cruz.. and IMHO Cruz will work something out with them because to have any chance to beat Trump he’ll need their organization and their money.. in the end he wants to win.. get your popcorn early
I don't think there's any way that the media can shut Trump up. He certainly has them perplexed and befuddled.
Right now he is acting all “shocked” that his comments yesterday caused such a stir....huge eye roll from me....he and Levin knew exactly what they were dong. And, they made Me-Gyn all giddy!
