It’s laughable how the “media” and “pundits” are doing the equivalent of rearranging the deckchairs on the SS Trump. The sad thing is they believe their opinions matter. Nationwide, it’s still Trump 41%, Cruz 14%. If an establishment candidate, Bush for instance, had Trump’s numbers, the media would be screaming, “it’s over folks”.
Cruz cannot get voters new to Republican primaries and caucuses that Trump can. Even if somehow Cruz stops Trump from getting the nomination, I can't see how that translates to the nomination for him. Cruz just does not attract those non-traditional voters.
