Nope. A bad thing to attack them on. We can’t be seen begrudging them vacay in one of their home states or in any way slighting the pomp and celebration around them.

Policy, policy, policy—domestic and foreign, including spending especially at home, is where to hit Barry.

Presidents are supposed to be citizens of the best character to whom their fellows citizens grant enormous temporary powers.

Serve, then go home and live under the laws of the republic like everyone else. Bask in the honor, not roll around in riches stolen while in office.

The Obama family and their courtiers live like the household of an absolute monarch. Their example is reflected in the rest of government, for the single best industry in which ambition can be rewarded with riches is government. Very few in government care about spending because almost all are in on the con; pretend to “serve” while lining your pockets.

I understand that it seems petty to begrudge a vacation, etc.

But isn’t it a little bit odd that they never go back to Chicago? Its as if they (including their daughters) had no roots there. Barry hasn’t lived in Hawaii for decades...so why pick it (every single time) over his alleged home of Chicago?

And there’s another element to this - how he treats his hired help (secret service) and staff, and even media lackeys. By going so far away, he is essentially telling them “screw you, you’re not spending any of the holidays with your family”.

I don’t begrudge him a vacation...but can’t there be some limits? I don’t think if he tried, he could find a vacation spot that cost the taxpayers more money, and disrupted the lives of his staff more.
