2,009-Page, $1,205,146,000,000 Republican Spending Deal Allows Funding of Planned Parenthood

The 2,009 page fiscal 2016 spending deal that the Republican House leadership released today authorizes $1,205,146,000,000 in federal outlays between now and the end of fiscal 2016, according to the Congressional Budget Office, and it does not prohibit funding of Planned Parenthood, according to the House Appropriations Committee.

The spending bill is paired with a separate 233-page tax bill.

“We are maintaining all of our pro-life protections, including the Hyde Amendment, and we are making cuts to the UNFPA program,” House Speaker Paul Ryan said of the omnibus spending bill at a press conference today.

Planned Parenthood is the nation’s top abortion provider. In its latest annual report (2013-2014), it said that it did 327,653 abortions in fiscal 2013 (which ended on Sept. 30, 2013), and that in the year that ended on June 30, 2014, it received $528.4 million in government health services grants and reimbursements.

“Look in divided government, you don’t get everything that you want,” Ryan said at his press conference. “Republicans didn’t get all that we wanted. Democrats didn’t get all that they wanted. This is a bipartisan compromise. It is a bicameral compromise. And I understand that some people don’t like some of the aspects of this. But that is the compromise that we have. And I do believe that we will have bipartisan votes on both of these bills.”

In its analysis of H.R. 2029—“The Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2016”—the CBO said that changes in law that will be made by the bill will have the net effect of increasing the federal deficit by $57.6 billion in the ten-year period from fiscal 2016 through fiscal 2025.

When you see a Freeper telling you that the gop is a lesser evil, you are looking at a flat out liar. After this many sidings with Obama, no one here has any excuse. If they demand lesser evil/no matter what, they are leftists.

And I don’t care whose ‘friend’ here they are.

My every effort will be to subvert the GOPe. They are despicable liars and poltroons. I don’t trust any of them under the mantle “conservative” any longer. That was always “sheep’s clothing” except for very few who will now rise to power. Trump is unique I think and more pragmatic in his views in some social areas but given the man in his totality and his self funding and his command of the media,he is my best hope to destroy the establishment beyond any repair.

I believe a significant number of Republicans have been compromised for past very serious transgressions (violations of the law, moral lapses, etc., etc.) of one sort or another, and that they are being blackmailed by Ophonybama and his LIEberal thugs!

After all, that IS is the Chicago Way, and Ophonybama and his LIEberal thugs are known for treating their enemies (and, Republicans and Conservatives ARE their enemies!) like that.

HST, you are correct in one respect — there are LIEberal Republicans who will vote with Ophonybama and his LIEberal thugs because they are LIEberals!

I agree some may be.

However If my statement is incorrect, then how does it explain the total capitulation by so many over such a large timeframe? That would logically mean that nearly every one of these guys, to the upper 90th percentile, was corrupt to the core GOING IN. Thats one hell of a set of odds no Vegas Bookie would take on.

Occams Razor would indicate they simply agree with liberalism.

Occams Razor would indicate they simply agree with liberalism.

Or they all are adherents of a power group, and different beliefs are convenient at different times. That would mean they have no beliefs above their own power over the country.

I don’t think your statement is incorrect.

What I believe is that there are LIEberal Republicans who will vote LIEberal, and there are Conservative Republicans who are being forced to vote LIEberal to keep their indiscretions FRom being exposed by Ophonybma’s LIEberal thugs.

I have no concrete evidence — just a “gut level sense” — too many Conservatives have voted against We the People since Ophonybama came into office.

He and his LIEberal thugs have some kind of leverage against them — think the Clinton era 900 FBI file scandal.

Rest assured of this: if a Republican has a blemish in his past, Ophonybama knows about it and will use said blemish to forward his agenda!

Well, that certainly is possible.

HST, We the People have been turning out those kinds of politicians for several years now, and in 2016, we have another opportunity to clean our House and Senate of some more trash!

Were I a Congressman, or a Senator up for re-election in 2016, and if I wanted to get re-elected, I JUST MIGHT pay attention to what my constituents want!

“Politicians and diapers should both be changed regularly, and for the same reason!”

is a saying that has appeared on bumper stickers, but is of unknown origin. The popular saying (implying that both politicians and diapers start clean, but quickly become full of stuff) has been cited in print from at least 1992. California Libertarian candidate John Wallner used the line often in 1992.

The thing with the original clinton fbi files is that most of the people involved are long gone from office. I have no doubt though that all new files were released/taken/used perpetually since.

But again, I look at it and thing that these people would have to be into deep voodoo to worry about the contents of said files unless they were either totally shallow or totally filthy.

I can’t see some pol terrified about his subscription to Pornhub when millions of dollars in retirement bennies await him. If he’s dirty, he just blows it off anyway and acts likea dem, which they all do now anyway.

And that takes it back to all of them being ‘truly’ dirty, not “I’m a pornhound’ dirty and thus the odds problem.

I agree it’s possible. It would not surprise me a git really. But I really have a hard time buying that many people that have passed through DC since the Clinton FBI files could be totally corrupt without it breaking into a major issue long before the current crop.

Many corrupt? Sure. Most? OK, I can go there too. All of them? For 20+ years? Thats a tough one for me.

Norm, I merely used the Clintoon FBI files as an example of the king of skulduggery the Democrats are capable of.

Of course, those particular files are passe now, but, HST, the Ophonybama LIEberal scumbag thugs seem to be able to have their way with their Republican “opposition” pretty much unopposed.

There has got to be a reason, other than LIEberal tendencies some political folks have, and I believe it to be blackmail.

Just sayin’.

They all went to the same schools, married the same women, most have little or no experience beyond politics, they have the same habits and the same mistresses, they become insanely wealthy on $174 000/year, they hang with the transnational financial elites and travel all over the world on our dime.

The idea that they are being blackmailed is foolishness. They’re all in the same game.

And the beauty of Trump, the truly outstanding thing about him, is that he's seen then all with their pants down, so to speak, as they come to him (lined up around the block, in fact) begging for money and favors.

I think he's a real guy, and I think they all disgust him.

This is why they are reacting so strongly to him. They have no secrets from him.

Generally I am not a fan. I admit freely he has good points though and I pretty much agree with you. I just don’t trust him.

But for what you said, Yea, for sure he knows their secrets. People at that level don’t operate like we do and most don’t get that. Which is why so many are bad at politics. Where you and I worry about car payments, they worry about anything from sex club romps in Thailand, to power games involving economies. Because money is not what drives them. Power is.

I recommend the book by Robert Greene, “The 48 Laws of power” to every conservative. It should sit aside the Bible and be read as often to get a true understanding of the mindset at work with the ‘elite’.

With Trump, he has had and done it all. Power included. But they havent. They want to. But havent yet. He knows where they are going even when they do not. From experience. His own or having borne witness to others up close.

The word “Tryhards” and all that denotes comes to mind. Also The Offspring’s “Pretty Fly for a white Guy” video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AltMeuPkWRs

That reminds me so much of the liberal ‘elite it’s scary.
