At what point in Donald Trump's inaugural address do you figure the GOP establishment will finally grasp what's been happening?
The establishment -- not "elites," because they're mostly bland functionaries who went to third-rate schools -- have thrown absolutely everything they have at Trump. I've never seen so many Republicans featured on MSNBC.
At least no one will be able to say the Republican National Committee didn't give it the old college try (and, again, that would be third-rate colleges).
Trump is a runaway hit with Americans for the simple reason that he's the only candidate saying anything Americans care about.

Why are Republicans talking about starting a war in Syria to stop Muslim immigrants from killing Americans in America? Is it our job to straighten out Syria? Can't our government just stop bringing the terrorists here? If Rubio thinks he knows how to govern Syria, he's free to run for president there. (Except he'd have to stop talking about his dad the bartender because Muslims don't drink.)

Everyone should take a step back and remember that a lot of what Trump has said much more bluntly (and i am thankful for it) was said by Cruz way before.

If Republican America had only been so ‘picky’ and rigid in their requirements for a “conservative” candidate in 2004 and 2008, America knowing of an “Obama” as President would not be a reality.
So here we are in 2015 running up to 2016 elections supposed to accept Republican establishment’s pick again. Trump has somehow stolen the base’s affection and it’s just not right. No it wasn’t the treachery by Congress after 2012 elections or the historic elections of 2014; it was Trump who caused all the problems.
The GOP establishment won’t ever get it. They’ll have to be slapped upside the head with a two-by-four.
Not until they've been relegated to their gated communities and private islands, despised whenever they dare show their faces (come to think of it, they're just about at that point)
The way that Cochran nomination was stolen was the breaking point. By giving them the majorities they said they needed, we gave them a lifeline. They could either use that rope to hang themselves or grab that lifeline. They sure didn't use it as a lifeline.
Mygosh, look at this most recent budget! Those who are within the system lack either the integrity or the leadership to stop the madness. Donald Trump is the ONLY one who is a force of nature that can clean out the DC sewer!

And he didn't do what we'd hoped, which is bring the junior US Senators into a coalition to clean up the disgusting US Senate, both parties. He's a better voice when Trump is paving the way. Cruz isn't going to change anything, and he con't win the presidency. Let Trump with his marketing and media skills take the lead. Look how much good he's already done by stirring the pot! Cruz, even with those majorities, wasn't creating change until Trump came along. We're all better off if Cruz is patient for four years, and uses time as VP or in the US Senate getting better at creating not just controversy, but change!

CRUZ PLAN TO STOP ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION HIGHLIGHTS
Its not that we dont know how to solve illegal immigration. What is missing is the political will to get it done. And, as president, I will get it done. We will secure the borders. Ted Cruz
SECURE THE BORDER
A Cruz Administrations first priority for immigration reform will be to secure the U.S.-Mexico border. We will:
Build a wall that works. The unsecured border with Mexico invites illegal immigrants, criminals, and terrorists to tread on American soil. I will complete the wall.
Triple the number of Border Patrol agents. Securing the border is the federal governments obligation. I will dedicate the force necessary to do that.
Increase vital aerial surveillance and other technology along the border. Adding boots on the ground is not enough. Eyes in the sky and other equipment are necessary to find and detain all illegal entrants.
Finish the biometric tracking system at our nations ports of entry. It is disgraceful that our federal government cannot keep track of those who enter the country. I will complete a biometric entry-exit tracking system.
RESTORE THE RULE OF LAW
We need a President who will follow the law, hold those who break it accountable, and take seriously the duty to protect Americans. To restore the Rule of Law, a Cruz Administration will:
End President Obamas illegal amnesty. President Obama has issued over 20 illegal executive memoranda rewarding illegality. I will rescind each and every one on my first day in office.
Increase deportations and end catch-and-release. Our laws are not being enforced. I will restore our commitment to enforcement, public safety, and the Rule of Law by rededicating DHS to fully enforcing the law, including through deportations and returns.
End sanctuary policies, sign Kates Law, and deport criminal immigrants. There are about 340 sanctuary jurisdictions in the United States. They make a mockery of our laws and endanger our citizens. I will end support for these jurisdictions.
Prohibit illegal immigrants from receiving financial benefits and strengthen E-Verify. American taxpayers should not be funding benefits for those who are here illegally, and American jobs should not go to those who are here illegally. I will protect Americans’ wellbeing by stopping the flow of taxpayer dollars and instituting a strong e-verify system.
REFORM LEGAL IMMIGRATION TO PROTECT AMERICANS
In order to strengthen our immigration system, protect national security, and better serve American workers, we must:
Suspend the issuance of all H-1B visas for 180 days to complete a comprehensive investigation and audit of pervasive allegations of abuse of the program.
New allegations detail appalling abuses of the H-1B visa program ... a program meant to create American jobs and spur economic growth.
I will suspend the program for 180 days to investigate abuses.
Halt any increases in legal immigration so long as American unemployment remains unacceptably high.
The purpose of legal immigration should be to grow the economy, not to displace American workers.
Under no circumstances should legal immigration levels be adjusted upwards so long as work force participation rates remain below historical averages.
Enforce the public-charge doctrine. Current law requires legal immigrants to certify that they will be economically self-sufficient. A Cruz Administration will ensure they do not receive government assistance, which defies the law and harms American taxpayers.
End birthright citizenship. Birthright citizenship was not intended to legalize the children of people who are breaking the law by entering and staying in the country illegally. I will take steps to pass legislation or a constitutional amendment to end it.

“If the economy is bad, you are unwilling and/or afraid to confront illegal immigration, and you are a timid political hack with no principles other than feathering your own nest, start pounding the War Drums.”

Trump wants to keep these people OUT of our country. He is the only one saying that. All the others are talking about taking ISIS out and regime change.
