And without reading the article, I assume that the Swedish population will be shocked to find out just how hard it is to acquire a license for a firearm?

I’m reminded of the people of California who, during the Rodney King riots, rushed to the gun stores to buy guns for protection only to find they had to wait TEN DAYS or more before they could pick them up.

In 1918 and 1939, courageous Swedes came to the aid of Finland as Finns fought to secure and preserve their independence, sometimes with equipment supplied by those Swedes. And some of those Swedes, and others, came to the fight as volunteers, and died alongside their Finnish neighbors.

Now it may be time for some Finns- and others- to repay the debt. By the way, Finns are not a truly Nordic race like many Scandinavians. Our bloodlines are a dandy hodgepodge, ranging from Finland to Hungary to the Mongolian Steppes of Genghiz Khan.
