I remember those threads and those posters.
They acted all “rational” but would not listen to any reason or argument.
They just screamed that her brain is liquefying and skin turning black and hard etc...
It’s almost two years now and their assertions and predictions have not come true.
See. Here’s the problem.
Every time Jahi’s mother puts out a progress report on her daughter, she’s slammed with the most vile death threats and comments that a human being can take.
I’m part of a prayer group for Jahi. We pray for her daily. Outsiders and Negative Nancies are dumped immediately.
When things are ‘clear’ the mother will post a video. That video is pulled in less than an hour and is protected from copying or sharing.
We ALL support the mother’s efforts and absolutely understand why she can’t keep them up.
NOBODY is requesting money. This is all goodwill and love.
And skeptics like you aren’t invited.
Here’s the weird thing.
A mother who’s fighting for the life of her child doesn’t need people like you in her life. It’s hard enough as it is.
I went through this with my own son. I couldn’t handle the negative. It hurt too much.

Doctor reports are not to be disclosed by the **doctor** and his or her staff. A patient or parent of a dependent is completely free to open them to the public.
Excuse me are you some kind of jerk. You have no right or reason to call me a skeptic for asking for sources. You are very judgmental and rude. We were told our child would not live past 2. He is almost 24 and we would do anything to maintain him. Personally I would not want a rude, judgmental person as you appear to be in his life or praying for him. I question if you have any basis for anything you say

*I* was declared PVS and taken from the hospital by my own mother against drs orders.
BTW, my mom worked with disabled children in Wyoming. She discovered that a doctor was intentionally advising parents to do things that would kill the children.
MY MOTHER went to court to pull this doctor’s license.
HE ADMITTED that he was trying to kill these kids off as a ‘mercy’ to these families. This was in 1979.
So don’t tell me that the medical community is on your side or that of your children. There are many who feel that your babies would be better off dead.
*I* was one of those kids. Later, I was a caretaker and I fought for those people.

What are you spewing about weirdo? My initial comment was about an inaccuracy in the article. If the author omits details I question the validity of said article. I don’t trust docs and hospitals at all and have chosen to treat, so far successfully, a major health crisis without them. This family chose otherwise. It’s tragic. I sincerely hope there was no foul play, but it there was the courts should figure it out. Personal responsibility and all.

My child has never spoken or even sat alone, he has no control due to severe CP, but unlike you he is happy 99.9% of the times and a joy to all who meet him. You don’t see those comments as cruel and judgmental? You are the one with a problem. I have no idea whether you are “bad” or not but you are bitter, angry and judgmental! Maybe you need to look at yourself! You turned a question for information into an indictment of me. You are not the only human to face challenges and we fight everyday for our son, but we have been blessed with doctors who care and a child that I thank God to know and am so proud of. Yes I wish he had the health of others but he has never been a burden/negative in his life. He is a gift from God.
Take your nasty comments and judgments and sends the bitterness to someone else. I pity you.

We do have brain analyzing machines. These are called reflexes. They do not depend on whether one is awake, sleeping, ill or well. When the brain is functioning “alive†these reflexes are intact. Loss of the reflex reveals no brain function.
In addition there are multiple scans that can be done that prove no blood flow to the crucial areas of the brain, EEGs that can show lack of electrical activity in the brain, etc.
It seems you do not want to hear the truth, just hold to your own opinion. As is famously said, you have the right to be wrong.

Let’s look back two years ago. You wrote:
