Please listen to Jeff Sessions defense of Ted Cruz on the Howie Carr Show today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8Nnt_obTRM&feature=youtu.be

Seriously if you honestly believe that Cruz wasn’t THE MOST adamant opponent (along with Lee, Cotton and Sessions)to the Iran deal....you’re beyond help.
If you want to continue to bring up the TPA vote, OK, rational minds can disagree on that.....at least it’s arguable. But to assert straight faced that Cruz was in any way shape or form a proponent of the Iran deal.......you’d have to be certifiable.
Big government statism is trump’s record.
Trump is no conservative and he will stab the voters in the back. He has flip flopped during his campaign. Just because I am furious with DC does not mean I will vote for a rude egomaniac that attacks another candidate’s faith or says that he has never asked God for forgiveness. Trump talks out of three sides of his mouth. He is a dangerous candidate. Maybe he will give you a free ride on his helicopter.
What if Trump wins the nomination, will you vote for him?
Because if it’s hitlery vs trump, the Republic is already lost.
The single most important issue in the survival of our nation as we know it, is closing the door to illegal immigration, followed by limiting refugees and H1Bs to specific needs.
The rest of the national discussion on various issues is mostly peripheral hogwash intended to divide us as a nation. The “elites” that have always been behind open door immigration including the 1965 Immigration Act, simply want our legacy middle class culture and ethnicity neutralized. They then can more easily plunder us with clueless third worlders that will give them votes, and serve as an excuse to call the rest of us who are losing our rights and political power bigots.
I haven’t been on as much lately so I am not sure if Jim Robinson still feels the same way or not but he was spot on in his earlier post. “To: masadaman
Trump has had a lot of bad hair days. Just like Romney. Two bad hair guys who are more liberal than they are conservative and both run-of-the-mill liars and political whores. Either will say anything to get ahead. Just working the system the only way they know how. Charlatans.

Interesting Back Story!
I’m disappointed in Sessions. Sessions also voted for the Corker bill, which was also a big disappointment.
Back to Cruz. All Cruz had to say is that he has refined his views since 2013. And the criticism would be mild at best. He did support a compromise back in 2013, but he and his supporters tell us that we can’t believe our own eyes and ears.
>>Truth is that once Cruz successfully pushed the TPA closure vote through the congress, TPA was a done deal. To come back and say he voted against TPA after that is just sleazy political BS<<
That would be “cloture vote” not closure. The process moves from upper chamber to lower, then back to the upper chamber.
When a senator supports an original bill, it then is amended, the house and senate leadership begins deceiving it’s members, it is up to the individual members to come against the deception...that is exactly what Ted Cruz did. He deserves kudos for bringing the lies to light.
Ted Cruz is HATED among the senate leadership for doing just that. He came out and called them liars.
Only a couple of senators stood with Ted Cruz when he exposed the deception. Where were you when the senate leadership attacked Cruz for calling them LIARS. Political BS is omitting these facts.
Cruz is hated for exposing what he calls the Washington Cartel. Absolutely unbelievable that folks are attempting to label Cruz as part of the establishment. He is anything but.
You just confirmed why you are a Trump supporter. Ignore the red flags and his Clintonista ways but I believe he will lose anyway. On Eminent Domain it has been around for eons but to seize private property from a citizen in favor of private enterprise (not always for utilities or govt needs) I would bet Cruz would oppose that aspect. Dump Trump!
Thank you, Senator Sessions for setting the record straight.
No one will look at Heidi Cruz.
“Because if itâs hitlery vs trump, the Republic is already lost.”
I don’t agree Trump beating Hillary would lose the Republic. It’s lost right now. If it’s Cruz vs Hillary and Cruz loses, the loss of the republic is sealed. I think Trump has a way better chance of beating Hillary than Cruz does.
Well, there is that. ;)
“Yet Cruz makes 1 vote in support of TPA (which he explained) but even if you donââ¬â¢t believe him, heââ¬â¢s totally against today and heââ¬â¢s a conservative Judas.”
Nope, for me it’s because he’s vague on illegal immigration. During this campaign he’s been silent most of the time, and even though he has a plan now, it is vague on amnesty. My definition- letting them stay, not a politician’s lying definition. And he doesn’t ‘intend’ to give them legal status, as opposed to saying he won’t give them legal status. Sounds like a politician and lawyer leaving an out.
