I recognized it for what it was early on. Nobody was tougher on border control than Duncan Hunter Sr.Hunter was my congressman. He was and still is a staunch conservative. Even so, when he ran in 2008 the same types attacking Cruz now were attacking Hunter then. All in favor of their RINO candidate.

Fred Thompson was the political Justin Beiber of that election season. He told jokes in the debates and "won" them all and we ended up with McCain.
