Not on TPA, in fact Cruz said Sen. Sessions was wrong on TPA.

This is about the immigration controversy. TPA is a separate issue that we have discussed ad nausium elseware.

What boggles my mind is the double standard Trumpophiles exhibit in their attitude toward Trump vs Cruz.

Trump supports Kelo, Single payer healthcare, Ethanol subsidies, Planned Parenthood, confiscatory taxes on the rich and opposes Medicare/Social Security reform.

Yet Cruz makes 1 vote in support of TPA (which he explained) but even if you don’t believe him, he’s totally against today and he’s a conservative Judas.

These people are so snake-fascinated with Trump they refuse to see him for what he really is....a skilled carnival barker who lacks both conservative ideals and a strong moral compass.

Cruz was wrong at first on TPA. He admits that. Doesn’t mean the Rubio smears are true.

So is your standard for supporting a candidate absolute and utter perfection? I understand why Cruz initially supported TPA - it has been in effect for every president since Reagan and was considered so uncontroversial that previous versions passed almost unanimously. But even if you consider his vote for cloture was wrong (he voted against the bill itself), is that one vote enough to disqualify him, despite his 96% conservative record in the Senate? Would only 100% conservative be enough? Because if so, Trump is in real trouble. Trump has some conservative positions now, but many are recent positions for him, and there are still many positions he holds that would not be considered at all conservative.

So here we have Jeff Sessions saying that he and Cruz stood together when Cruz submitted the amendments on the H1B increase and allowing legalization but not citizenship - as a way of showing that the gang of 8 bill was about granting citizenship first and foremost. Will the people who have hammered Cruz over those amendments now accept Session's word, or will they still attack Cruz as some immigration sellout?

.
You’re one of the serial liars.

I’m sure you are incurable, no matter what Sessions says.
