Don’t get me wrong - I am on YOUR side on this issue.
Don’t cancel for all - which I why I ‘suggested’ alternate activity for those that don’t want to go.
Just to keep the ‘cycle flowing’ a bunch of parents should protest that this is the only time and way they can afford to let their kid see ‘Santa Claus’.
That gets a whole new ‘class’ of whiners involved.
KEEP STIRRING THE POT.
I have been receiving stuff from ‘Military Connection’ and this year they ‘sent’ a Holiday greeting and in about 30 sentences the word CHRISTMAS wasn’t mentioned once.
So, I didn’t demand they recognize CHRISTMAS, I told them to drop me from their mailing list and was/am sure that most of the recipients of the newsletter basically feel the same way..
And I am even one that admitted that sometimes be careful what you may ‘wish for’...
Years ago ‘we’ complained that Christmas was being too commercialized, protested the use of Xmas- and exploited etc....
SO...’they’ dropped CHRISTMAS from the CHRISTMAS holiday experience, giving ‘US’ something else to gripe about...
Just saying...

I often have to remind myself not to treat the actions of individuals as a group. It is true that there is a disproportionate number of Jews who are very anti-Christian and in life only for themselves and their peers. However it was a (gay) Jew who led me to conservatism and first alerted me to the fact that there is something very wrong here in the US.

A good Jewish friend and his wife volunteer at hospitals on Christmas Day so Christians can be home with their families. That’s the holiday spirit!
