The victim said that he subsequently sought to restrain his wife, who repeatedly scratched him across his chest. Cops reported he had four or five six-inch scratches on his chest, and that his t-shirt was ripped in three places. Can't take an elbow from his wife without calling the cops?
You need to get out more.
Men are arrested jailed, caged and thrown into this corrupt justice system where they're looted and threatened, because a women shows them a red mark on their arm. No joke.

I agree, it is terrible. The punishment for domestic violence is so severe, it can financially destroy the entire family, and wound the offending spouse so badly he (or she) can never recover. A night in jail is enough. If the battered spouse is allowed to call the police to haul the violent spouse off to jail every time the abusive spouse gets physical, the batterer will eventually get the message that the batteree is not going to put up with it. And if he (she) does not, then he can spend every weekend in jail if it comes to that and let him (her) out Monday morning early enough to get to work on time. Our laws are much too harsh, quite contrary to the intent of our founding fathers.
