P.S. IF Cruz is elected, you can bet that the liberals on the SC will die before they let Cruz upset the balance of power that the liberals have enjoyed for the past 75 years.

I’ll admit as a Christian who feels our cultural disease and spiritual sickness basically leads to everything else wrong with the country, this is a concern.

The one way I can rationalize it, or at least put my mind at ease with it is a combination of what other people have said.

It’s not on his top three priority list to fight because indeed constitutionally and especially as far as the POTUS and his (or perhaps one day her) role goes, it’s not their role or even place necessarily to “fight it”.

And indeed, for most people running for that office, there are so many other issues that look bigger than gay marriage that I could say it not being in his top three.

That of course doesn’t mean it’s not a concern or not something that constitutionally he wouldn’t try to push to see changed. Heck, it could be number four on his priority list for all we, and especially Mike Huckabee, knows. That said, it probably isn’t. But it isn’t as if we can expect him at this point to say his view and his definition of marriage is evolving, a la Obama, or even Hillary.

If he goes that route, THEN string him up.

The Huckster just Hucked himself.

By looking more conservative than Ted, he makes Ted look more moderate. And he’s not “moderate.”

As a separate issue from the overall anti-constitutionalism of the current regime and judiciary, it is not a very high priority.

I don’t see any candidate making it a priority. Americans seem to have warmed up to perversion, pedophilia, and your garden-variety moral rot. Best chance to rid this nation of this evil depravity at this point is probably having Putin invade and conquer us.

That’s because it isn’t in the top three at the momemt .. and if only Huckabee had listened to the people .. he would have found that out .. but instead he was listening to the GOP-e and missed the boat - AGAIN.

You keep coming up with this B.S. Trump’s position on gay marriage is this “You have to go with it. The decision’s been made, and that is the law of the land,”. Nothing about the 10th amendment. Trumps position is down dog up when it comes to gay marriage.

Gov. Huckabee is bitterly disappointed that the influential people who supported him in 2008, and he expected to help his 2016 campaign in Iowa, have abandoned him and endorsed Ted Cruz. It's a long list. Tony Perkins, Bob Vander Plaats, Steve Deace, James Dobson, and Rep. Steve King have all endorsed Cruz to name a few. I view this as Huckabee lashing out to attack the object of their admiration. It's sad really.

Here are some excerpts in a recent article and quotes from Huckabee:

"For reasons I don't fully understand, years and years of actually doing something and getting things done didn't matter," Huckabee said of the group's deliberations. "And I don't understand that."

Huckabee, according to sources, has often reminded Perkins and his fellow influencers that a major reason he gave up his Fox News show and launched a 2016 campaign was because he expected to have their backing. Their decision to instead support Cruz, then, seemed to sting Huckabee personally as much as politically. "You know, everybody has a right to do what they want to do. But it was disappointing to me. These are guys I've worked with for years and years. Many of them I've helped with their projects and their various endeavors," Huckabee says, shaking his head. A moment later, he adds, "But you know, that's life."

Cruz is the master debater as his response shows. He’ll likely take the fed govts boot off the necks of states who do not comply with issueing marriage licenses to homos.

Can’t help but also add, where was the blasted GOP when this abomination was being pushed in the first place? The GOP, which used to tout “family values” during their convention speeches a few decades back? Just like they used to speak up for the 10th Amemndment and states rights? The GOP, which nominated that scumbag bastard Romney, who as governor of MA stood back and helped facilitate this sick insanity onto the country in the first place?

Damn, damn, damn the GOP to the deepest, darkest corners of hell. The GOP helped put the dagger right in the heart of this country, delivering it right into the hands of the homo-fascists. Didn’t even stand up to the bakers, the photographers, the wedding-chapel owners. May this godforsaken, faggot-America go down in blazes, and strangle everyone who helped usher it in.

If any president has gay marriage in his top three matters of importance, he needs to reevaluate his schedule.

Illegals, terrorism, and gun rights. THOSE are the top three issues, closely followed by job creation.

“Gay marriage,” short of a Constitutional amendment (which won’t happen), is unfortunately a fact of life now.
