“Conservatives are being asked to ‘coalesce’ around yet another corporately-funded candidate that says something very different at a big donor fundraiser in Manhattan than at a church in Marshalltown,” Huckabee said in a statement released by his campaign Wednesday afternoon. “Shouldn’t a candidate be expected to have authenticity and consistency, instead of having to look at a map to decide what to believe and what to say?”
Methinks Huckabee is looking for a piece of the Trump action.
Here is the non-story for you. Nothing to see, nothing new. Huckster in his death throes.

Shouldn't a candidate be expected not to take a statement out of context in order to make an issue of it? Cruz is Constitutionally correct on the question of gay marriage: it is a matter of Federalism. Let States who want it sink into the pits and while those who don't get to watch.
They all have to answer to donors. Huckabee too. It’s why he’s mixing religion with state, here. Whoever gets in needs to fix the invasion problem, then address the 21trillion debt, then remove the restraints against judeochristian belief on the citizens. Get people to talk about what’s wrong with same sex marriage. But the judges have ruled on it for now. The president cannot do anything about that
There is no place in this race for debating cultural matters. If we don’t get someone in there who is not owned by corporate donors, homosexual unions will sink way further from the least of our governments worries
Cruz’s answer was word for word the same as on every other occasion. His priority is the Constitution and states rights. Let the states decide. They took one word of his answer and made it the headline without the rest of the statement.
